However, the content of the Terms can be viewed by users through a connected screen.
"The Battery Conference" must provide a separate linked screen or pop-up screen to ensure that users can understand important contents such as withdrawal of subscription, delivery responsibilities, and refund conditions before users agree to the Terms.
"The Battery Conference" may amend these Terms within the scope of not violating related laws such as the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Regulation of Standardized Contracts Act, the Basic Act on Electronic Commerce, the Digital Signature Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Door-to-Door Sales Act, and the Consumer Protection Act.
When "The Battery Conference" amends the Terms, the effective date and reasons for amendment shall be specified and announced along with the current Terms on the initial screen of the site from 7 days before the effective date to the day before the effective date. However, if the amendments are unfavorable to users, at least a 30-day grace period shall be provided for notification. In this case, "The Battery Conference" shall clearly compare the contents before and after the amendment to make it easy for users to understand.
When "The Battery Conference" amends the Terms, the amended Terms apply only to contracts concluded after the effective date, and the provisions of the Terms before amendment apply to contracts already concluded. However, if a user who has already entered into a contract wishes to apply the amended Terms, the user can request it within the notice period of the amended Terms under Paragraph 3, and if "The Battery Conference" agrees, the amended Terms will apply.
Matters not stipulated in these Terms and the interpretation of these Terms shall follow the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Regulation of Standardized Contracts Act, the Consumer Protection Guidelines in Electronic Commerce set by the Fair Trade Commission, and related laws or customary practices.
Article 4 Provision and Change of Services
"The Battery Conference" performs the following tasks:
Providing information on goods or services and concluding purchase contracts
Delivery of goods or services for which a purchase contract has been concluded
Other tasks determined by "The Battery Conference"
"The Battery Conference" may change the contents of the goods or services to be provided in future contracts in case of sold-out goods or changes in technical specifications. In this case, the changed contents and the date of provision shall be specified and immediately notified at the place where the current goods or services are posted.
If "The Battery Conference" changes the contents of the services for which a contract has been concluded with the user due to reasons such as sold-out goods or changes in technical specifications, the reason shall be immediately notified to the user at an address where the user can be reached.
In the case of the preceding paragraph, "The Battery Conference" shall compensate the user for damages caused by this. However, this does not apply if "The Battery Conference" proves that there was no intention or negligence.
Article 5 Suspension of Service
"The Battery Conference" may temporarily suspend the provision of services in case of reasons such as maintenance, replacement, or malfunction of information and communication equipment like computers, or interruption of communication.
"The Battery Conference" shall compensate users or third parties for damages caused by the temporary suspension of service provision for reasons stated in Paragraph 1. However, this does not apply if "The Battery Conference" proves that there was no intention or negligence.
If the service cannot be provided due to reasons such as business transition, abandonment of business, or integration between companies, "The Battery Conference" shall notify the users as stipulated in Article 8 and compensate consumers according to the conditions originally presented by "The Battery Conference". However, if "The Battery Conference" has not notified the compensation criteria, users' mileage or points shall be paid in cash or in kind equivalent to the currency value used at "The Battery Conference".
Article 6 Membership Registration
Users apply for membership by filling out member information according to the registration form set by "The Battery Conference" and expressing their consent to these Terms.
"The Battery Conference" registers users who have applied for membership as stated in Paragraph 1 as members, unless they fall under any of the following:
If the applicant has previously lost membership under Article 7, Paragraph 3 of these Terms, except in cases where 3 years have elapsed since the loss of membership under Article 7, Paragraph 3 and the applicant has obtained consent for re-registration from "The Battery Conference".
If there are false, missing, or incorrect entries in the registration information
If registering as a member significantly hinders the technical aspects of "The Battery Conference"
The time of establishment of the membership contract shall be when "The Battery Conference"'s acceptance reaches the member.
If there are any changes to the registered information, the member shall immediately notify "The Battery Conference" of the changes by email or other means.
Article 7 Withdrawal and Loss of Membership
Members can request withdrawal from "The Battery Conference" at any time, and "The Battery Conference" will process the withdrawal immediately.
If a member falls under any of the following reasons, "The Battery Conference" may restrict or suspend membership:
If false information was registered at the time of application
If the member fails to pay for goods purchased through "The Battery Conference" or other debts incurred in connection with the use of "The Battery Conference"
If the member interferes with others' use of "The Battery Conference" or steals information, thereby threatening the order of electronic commerce
If the member uses "The Battery Conference" to engage in activities prohibited by law or these Terms, or acts against public order and morals
If the same act is repeated twice or more, or if the cause is not corrected within 30 days after membership is restricted or suspended, "The Battery Conference" may terminate the membership.
If "The Battery Conference" terminates membership, the registration will be canceled. In this case, the member will be notified and given at least 30 days to explain before the registration is canceled.
Article 8 Notification to Members
When "The Battery Conference" notifies a member, it can be done through the email address specified by the member in advance with "The Battery Conference".
For notification to an unspecified number of members, "The Battery Conference" may substitute individual notifications by posting them on the "The Battery Conference" bulletin board for at least one week. However, matters that have a significant impact on the member's transactions will be notified individually.
Article 9 Purchase Application
Users of "The Battery Conference" apply for purchases through the following methods or similar methods on "The Battery Conference", and "The Battery Conference" must provide the following information clearly during the purchase application. However, if the user is a member, the application of items 2 to 4 may be excluded.
Searching and selecting goods, etc.
Entering name, address, phone number, email address (or mobile phone number), etc.
Confirming the contents of the terms and conditions, services where the right of withdrawal is restricted, and costs such as delivery charges and installation fees.
Agreeing to the terms and conditions and indicating confirmation or rejection of item 3 (e.g., mouse click)
Applying for purchase of goods, etc. and confirming the application or agreeing to the confirmation from "The Battery Conference".
Selecting the payment method.
Article 10 Formation of Contract
"The Battery Conference" may not accept the purchase application as per Article 9 in the following cases. However, if a contract is made with a minor, it must be notified that the minor or their legal representative can cancel the contract if the legal representative's consent is not obtained.
If there is false information, missing details, or errors in the application.
If a minor applies to purchase goods or services prohibited by the Youth Protection Act such as tobacco or alcohol.
If accepting the purchase application is significantly impeded by "The Battery Conference" technology.
The contract is considered to be formed when the acceptance from "The Battery Conference" reaches the user in the form of a confirmation notice as specified in Article 12, Paragraph 1.
The statement of acceptance from "The Battery Conference" must include information about the user's purchase application, the availability of sale, and the correction or cancellation of the purchase application.
Article 11 Payment Method
The payment methods for goods or services purchased on "The Battery Conference" can be done through any of the following methods. However, "The Battery Conference" cannot impose any additional fees on the price of the goods or services based on the payment method chosen by the user.
Various account transfers such as phone banking, internet banking, and mail banking
Payment by prepaid cards, debit cards, and credit cards
Online bank transfer
Payment by electronic money
Payment upon receipt
Payment by points provided by "The Battery Conference"
Payment by gift certificates contracted with or recognized by "The Battery Conference"
Other electronic payment methods
Article 12 Confirmation Notice, Modification, and Cancellation of Purchase Application
When there is a purchase application from a user, "The Battery Conference" sends a confirmation notice to the user.
Upon receiving the confirmation notice, the user can request the modification or cancellation of the purchase application immediately if there is a discrepancy in the statement of intention. If there is a request from the user before shipping, "The Battery Conference" must process the request without delay. However, if the payment has already been made, the regulations on withdrawal of subscription in Article 15 shall apply.
Article 13 Supply of Goods, etc.
Unless there is a separate agreement with the user on the supply period of goods, "The Battery Conference" takes necessary measures such as order production and packaging within 7 days from the date of the user's subscription. However, if "The Battery Conference" has already received all or part of the payment for the goods, it will take measures within 2 business days from the date of receiving the payment. At this time, "The Battery Conference" must take appropriate measures to allow users to check the supply procedures and progress of the goods.
"The Battery Conference" specifies the means of delivery, the bearer of delivery costs for each means, and the delivery period for the goods purchased by the user. If "The Battery Conference" exceeds the agreed delivery period, it must compensate the user for the resulting damage. However, this does not apply if "The Battery Conference" proves that there was no intention or negligence.
Article 14 Refund
If "The Battery Conference" cannot deliver or provide the goods due to reasons such as out of stock, it will notify the user without delay and, if payment was received in advance, refund the payment or take necessary measures for refund within 2 business days from the date of receipt.
Article 15 Withdrawal of Subscription, etc.
Users who have entered into a contract for the purchase of goods with "The Battery Conference" can withdraw their subscription within 7 days from the date of receiving the confirmation notice.
If the user has received the goods, they cannot return or exchange them in the following cases:
If the goods are lost or damaged due to reasons attributable to the user (However, the subscription can be withdrawn if the packaging is damaged to check the contents of the goods)
If the value of the goods has significantly decreased due to the user's use or partial consumption
If the value of the goods has significantly decreased to the extent that resale is difficult due to the passage of time
If the packaging of the goods that can be reproduced into goods with the same performance is damaged
In the cases of items 2 through 4 in Paragraph 2, if "The Battery Conference" has not specified in advance that the withdrawal of subscription is restricted, or if it has not taken measures to provide trial products, the user's withdrawal of subscription is not restricted.
Notwithstanding Paragraphs 1 and 2, if the goods are different from the display or advertisement contents or are not performed as per the contract, the user can withdraw the subscription within 3 months from the date of receiving the goods, or within 30 days from the date of knowing or being able to know the fact.
Article 16 Effects of Withdrawal of Subscription, etc.
When "The Battery Conference" receives the return of goods from the user, it refunds the payment within 3 business days. If "The Battery Conference" delays the refund to the user, it must pay interest calculated by applying the delay interest rate prescribed and announced by the Fair Trade Commission to the delay period.
When "The Battery Conference" refunds the payment, if the user paid for the goods with a credit card or electronic money, it must immediately request the business that provided the payment method to stop or cancel the payment claim for the goods.
In the case of withdrawal of subscription, the user bears the cost necessary for returning the goods. "The Battery Conference" does not claim any penalty or damage compensation from the user for the withdrawal of subscription. However, if the contents of the goods are different from the display or advertisement contents or are not performed as per the contract, "The Battery Conference" bears the cost necessary for returning the goods.
If the user bore the delivery cost when receiving the goods, "The Battery Conference" clearly indicates who bears the cost at the time of withdrawal of subscription.
Article 17 Protection of Personal Information
"The Battery Conference" collects the minimum information necessary to fulfill the purchase contract when collecting user information. The following items are mandatory, and other items are optional:

Address
Phone number
Desired ID (for members)
Password (for members)
Email address (or mobile phone number)
When "The Battery Conference" collects personal information that can identify an individual, it must obtain the user's consent.
The provided personal information cannot be used for purposes other than its intended purpose or provided to third parties without the user's consent, and "The Battery Conference" bears all responsibility for this. However, the following cases are exceptions:
If necessary, minimum user information (name, address, phone number) is provided to delivery companies for delivery purposes.

The user can request to view and correct errors in their personal information held by "The Battery Conference" at any time, and "The Battery Conference" must take necessary measures without delay. If the user requests error correction, "The Battery Conference" will not use the personal information until the error is corrected.
"The Battery Conference" limits the number of managers to minimize the protection of personal information and bears all responsibility for any damage caused to the user due to loss, theft, leakage, or alteration of the user's personal information, including credit card and bank account details.
When the purpose of collecting or providing personal information is achieved, "The Battery Conference" or the third party who received the personal information must destroy the personal information without delay.
Article 18 Obligations of "The Battery Conference"
"The Battery Conference" must not engage in any acts prohibited by law or these terms and conditions, and must strive to provide continuous and stable goods and services as specified in these terms and conditions.
"The Battery Conference" must have a security system in place to protect users' personal information (including credit information) so that users can use internet services safely.
If "The Battery Conference" engages in unfair labeling or advertising activities as stipulated in Article 3 of the Act on Fair Labeling and Advertising and causes damage to users, it is liable for compensation.

Article 19 Obligations of Members Regarding ID and Password
Except as stipulated in Article 17, the management responsibility of ID and password lies with the member.
Members must not allow third parties to use their ID and password.
If a member's ID and password are stolen or if they recognize that a third party is using them, they must immediately notify "The Battery Conference" and follow the guidance provided by "The Battery Conference".
Article 20 User Obligations
Users must not engage in the following actions:
Registering false information during application or changes
Stealing someone else's information
Changing information posted on "The Battery Conference"
Transmitting or posting information other than the information set by "The Battery Conference" (such as computer programs)
Infringing on "The Battery Conference" or third party's copyrights and other intellectual property rights
Damaging the reputation of "The Battery Conference" or third parties or interfering with their work
Publicly posting or transmitting obscene or violent messages, images, voices, or other information that violates public order and morals
Article 21 Relationship Between Linked "The Battery Conference" and Subordinate "The Battery Conference"
When a higher-level "The Battery Conference" and a lower-level "The Battery Conference" are connected by hyperlinks (such as hyperlinks include text, pictures, and moving images), the former is called the connecting "The Battery Conference" (website), and the latter is called the subordinate "The Battery Conference" (website).
The connecting "The Battery Conference" does not take responsibility for guaranteeing transactions conducted independently by the subordinate "The Battery Conference" for goods, etc., provided that the connecting "The Battery Conference" clearly indicates on the initial screen or at the time of connection that it does not guarantee the transaction.
Article 22 Attribution of Copyrights and Restrictions on Use

Article 24 Jurisdiction and Governing Law
Lawsuits regarding electronic commerce disputes between "The Battery Conference" and users are governed by the user's address at the time of filing, and if there is no address, by the jurisdiction of the district court that has jurisdiction over the place of residence. However, if the user's address or place of residence is unclear at the time of filing, or if the user resides abroad, the lawsuit will be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
Korean law applies to electronic commerce lawsuits filed between "The Battery Conference" and users.
